About Me

Hi! I’m Sarah.

I’m a senior public relations student at the University of Oregon, with a particular interest and passion for the health and wellness industry. In 2017, I spent two terms as an Account Executive for her school-run public relations firm, Allen Hall Public Relations. There I planned and managed four portfolio review events, recruiting over 100 PR professionals to review students’ portfolios in Portland and Eugene.

In 2018, I worked with a team for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man/Woman of the Year event and competed to raise the most money for blood cancer research, a cause near and dear to my heart. My team and I raised over $155,000 for the LLS mission to cure blood cancers and improve the lives of patients, winning the competition.

I also have been an active member of the Oregon Cheerleading team for four years and do a great deal of volunteerism with the team, my favorite being visiting patients in the chemotherapy rooms at Willamette Valley Cancer Institute every Friday morning. I am eager to see where my career takes me and plan to make a positive impact along the way.
